Do This Instead

This is going to sound strange but Pastor Abrahamson want you to stop "going" to church. Because there's a better way to think about church.

I Know a Guy

If you've ever faced a problem and you've needed help, how great is it when you know a guy?

What a Nickname

An infomercial can be for any product, but it always seems as if they have the same kinds of lines, the same kind of jargon and lingo.

Dorito Theory

Like a potato chip, so many things in this world offer fleeting gratification. As Christians we look to God who provided something that lasts: eternal life.

Jesus is Your Peace

When we look at our lives and our hearts we don't often see peace. But peace doesn't come from within ourselves, it comes from what Jesus has done for you. Jesus' wounds are reminders that he paid for your wrongdoing and now you can have peace with God.

A Hole in the Boat

Jesus died to pay the punishment for your sins. And we can trust this because the Biblical authors reported everything just the way they witnessed it.

Is Grace Far Away?

The view from an airplane window is pretty amazing. Everything looks so small and far away. Sometimes God's grace looks small and far away, but the Bible tells us about Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, all done for YOU! God's grace is close and personal. God's grace is for YOU!

Certainty of Faith

It's important to put your faith in something that has the strength to carry you through the difficulties of life. The one place you should put your faith is in Jesus. He lived for you, died in your place, and rose again to prove your sins are forgiven.

I Really Believe This

God wants you to be certain that he loves you, that he sent Jesus to live and die in your place, that you will be with him in heaven.

With Great Joy

Luke ends his Gospel by telling us that Jesus' Ascension brought great joy to the disciples. Jesus' leaving can bring you great joy too.

Rejoice in the Mess

God can work through our messes. Jesus' death on the cross was a messy situation, but it was by this death that your sins were paid for.
