All right, here's one more thing to add when we think about how am I going to find and follow God's will for my life?
Sometimes we think, Oh God is opening a door for me, and we think God's will must be the easiest option out there.
One question that we get a lot with our college students is, how do I know what I should do with my life?
Jesus is the bread of life from heaven that gives us eternal life, forgiveness, salvation. But there's something else we can learn from this too. Jesus gives us bread to distribute.
When Jesus fed the 5000 he not only was looking to their physical needs, but he was also concerned about their spiritual needs. He's concerned with your spiritual needs too.
You're not just a speck out in the universe that's unimportant to God. Jesus sees and cares about you, and He provides for you.
We can't always see what God is thinking or what He's planning. But here He speaks to us in His word and he tells us I have seen, I have heard, I will be with you.
Me? Really? Who am I? Maybe you've asked that question before when someone has just given you the opportunity to step into a new role.
Can I still be forgiven if I keep on sinning?
