I’m having a rough day.
Are you having a bad day? We all have rough days. Today Pastor Tim Hartwig tells us where he finds comfort when dealing with a difficult day.
Romans 8:28
I’m having a rough day. Yes, pastors have those too.
Kids up late at night, dogs barking when they shouldn’t be, stress keeping you awake. Rough days. I don’t know about you, but sometimes I wonder how I’m going to get through them.
God doesn’t leave us without hope on our rough days. In Romans chapter 8 he says
We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God (Romans 8:28)
God has given us a promise that he will work even our rough days for our good. This can be hard to see at the time, but we need to remember what God was willing to do so that eternity would work out for our good. He sent Jesus to live and die for us so that our sins could be forgiven and we could be with him in heaven forever.
If God was able and willing to work that great good he will certainly get us through our rough days to himself in heaven, amen.
