About Peace Devotions

Peace Devotions was started as an online video ministry with a focus on the Gospel message. The first devotion aired on October 2, 2017.

The ministry is supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) and features pastors from the ELS and WELS.

The mission of Peace Devotions is to provide Gospel-centered, short-form, shareable videos that can be used for evangelism and encourage believers in their daily lives. 

The name Peace Devotions was chosen because we believe that the Gospel is what truly brings peace, and each devotion should point viewers towards the source of that peace.

Each devotion should contain the Gospel and point viewers towards Jesus’ work of salvation for them. 

Each devotion should have a target time of 2-4 minutes and go no longer than 5 minutes. 

While some videos can be directed toward a specific demographic, most videos should be directed toward a general audience with the understanding that some viewers will be unchurched.

We utilize a visual medium for distributing these devotions and images/B-roll footage will be added to the final product. We encourage the use of visuals when appropriate.
