Have you ever felt as though nobody understands what you were going through?
I've lived in parts of the country where I think the people were very ready to talk about the things of God in their daily conversation.
We live in a dangerous world. We live in a world that wants to kill us, not just physically. We live in a world that has enmity toward our souls.
Sometimes I wonder if we have such reverence for God's Word that we almost don't want to take that Bible off the shelf. It looks so good, so perfect.
What's your first reaction when someone cuts you off in traffic?
All Christians need encouragement to trust in God and not to worry. Jesus gives that encouragement in Matthew Chapter six, verses 28 to 30.
is it more important to work hard or more important to spend time in God's Word?
Jesus was no stranger to abuse, even in relationships that should have been close and should have been good.
How can you tell if people are good and bad? I think it'd be nice if there was some kind of a meter.
The theme for the devotion today is that God is in control.
When we think about the wealth of this world, it's absolutely nothing compared to what God could have and what God does have.
