Easter Changes Everything
God wants YOU to be in heaven with him one day. How can you be certain? Because he sent Jesus to pay for your entrance into heaven.
Acts 1:3a
Is it really that important if Jesus rose from the dead or not? Is the resurrection of Jesus critical to Christianity?
Yes it is.
Jesus knew that it was. And that’s why after his resurrection he stayed on Earth for 40 days. In the book of Acts chapter 1 we read:
After he had suffered, he presented himself alive to the apostles with many convincing proofs.
Jesus wanted to prove to his disciples that he was really alive because his resurrection changes everything. Since Jesus died and rose again that means that everything he said is true. He is the Son of God and He is the Savior from sin. And he is the source of eternal life for all who believe in him.
Jesus resurrection should be important to you.
Because it means that he has suffered and died for your sins. And God has accepted the payment that Jesus offered on your behalf so that your sins are forgiven.
God wants you to be in heaven with him one day. Jesus resurrection proves it. His resurrection is a big deal because it proves that your sins are forgiven. Amen.
