Who does this? Who is nice to people who complain against them?
Today I want to unpack the second major rest theme in the Bible with you.
Have you ever tried holding your hands up for a long time?
When you go to your kitchen faucet and you turn it on, what do you expect to happen?
Is there any God more awesome than God? Is there anyone else who has saved you from your sins?
Do you ever just feel like you're trapped? Like life just is closing in on you, on both sides and you see no way out. Well, the Israelites felt trapped, too.
Have you ever played the game follow the leader? It's really quite easy, isn't it?
Reputation matters. In fact, if you think about it, how much of your life, how much do we spend on our reputation?
We can't always see what God is thinking or what He's planning. But here He speaks to us in His word and he tells us I have seen, I have heard, I will be with you.
Me? Really? Who am I? Maybe you've asked that question before when someone has just given you the opportunity to step into a new role.
