The current podcast feed will be changing to a “new devotions only” feed. We will continue to share the new devotions which typically come out every Monday and Thursday.

We will also be starting a new feed called Peace Devotions Daily. This feed will share new devotions on Monday and Thursday along with reruns on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, just as we do now.

But… why?

Keeping a daily podcast feed populated with episodes is a time intensive task. We’ve recently automated this system so it no longer requires the posting to be done manually. Having the feed update automatically is a huge blessing (and time saver), but the new system requires a new podcast feed URL.

We have submitted the new URL to Spotify, Apple, and other podcast distributers so you can continue to find it using the same system you currently use. Listeners who only want to hear the new devotions as they come out can continue to use the current podcast feed.

The new daily feed will only contain one episode, updated each day. (This feed will also supply the audio for our Amazon Alexa Flash Briefing skill.) In our testing we’ve found that podcast players will often download and store each devotion until it has been listened to so you will still be able to play previous episodes.

[UPDATE (Feb 21, 2026)] It appears that Castbox also archives episodes in the podcast feed, so the “daily” feed may contain more than one episode. Also, we thought we should clarify that we have not deleted any episodes from the original feed, so the original feed does contain all of the rerun episodes up until we made the switch.

One more thing. We’ve created a new page on our site where you can find our entire audio archive and listen to devotions right from your web browser. (We’re still working on uploading the audio files, but you can already check it out.) Peace Devotions Podcast Player.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are excited to have a new system in place to ensure the podcast will continue with minimal upkeep.

Peace Devotions was started as an online video ministry with a focus on the Gospel message. The first devotion aired on October 2, 2017.

The ministry is supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) and features pastors from the ELS and WELS.

Our Mission

The mission of Peace Devotions is to provide Gospel-centered, short-form, shareable videos that can be used for evangelism and encourage believers in their daily lives. 

The name Peace Devotions was chosen because we believe that the Gospel is what truly brings peace, and each devotion should point viewers towards the source of that peace.

Each devotion should contain the Gospel and point viewers towards Jesus’ work of salvation for them. 

Each devotion should have a target time of 2-4 minutes and go no longer than 5 minutes. 

While some videos can be directed toward a specific demographic, most videos should be directed toward a general audience with the understanding that some viewers will be unchurched.

We utilize a visual medium for distributing these devotions and images/B-roll footage will be added to the final product. We encourage the use of visuals when appropriate.

AI Policy

Peace Devotions uses a combination of paid and free stock footage in the creation of our devotions. While we typically avoid the use of AI generated content in our videos, we occasionally may use AI generated illustrations, photos, or videos to help visually convey our message. We will do our best to disclaim the use of AI content when it is used.
